I got nothing. in A small but passable life.

After my coffee this morning and finishing the last book- “The Great Divide” by Joseph Stiglitz I thought it would be a good idea to take advantage of the weather.

I got dressed for the first time in…let me think…two weeks I guess? Liam Dog watched me change into street clothes, slowly realizing something BIG was up. He gets SO excited when he thinks a WALK is fixing to happen.

It was a beautiful day for a walk. It was already in the mid-sixties. We walked downtown to the library and turned in the book. There was nothing waiting on the shelf for me. I had to look because I hadn’t checked my email yet today. All the incoming books were already shelved so that was that, for today.

When we got back to the house I got Liam Dog some fresh water and washed yesterday’s dishes while Liam Dog ate a half bowl of his food. Geez.

I’ve found more movies online to watch:

“Gone Girl” (Nothing like a good psycho-bitch movie! Basic Instinct was better.)

And three more Jennifer Lawrence movies: “The Silver Linings Playbook”, “American Hustle”, and “Like Crazy”

So, now I’m once again bookless and idealess for video.

First World problems for sure.

I’ve also been watching some videos done by Vice News. The ones done for HBO are great. I watched one about Antarctica, one about Greenland, and one about the guy who discovered “The Great Pacific Garbage Patch”. That last one was a three week shoot that entailed sailing out to the patch for a week of research. Eye opening for sure.

I’ve found that sleeping until nearly noon every day solves some time consumption issues. Instead of eating breakfast, because it is too late for breakfast , I just have coffee. And eating lunch for breakfast doesn’t make sense, so I just drink my coffee and wait for supper. No big deal. I think I feel better eating just once every twenty four hours anyway.

So, three Powerball winners. I’ve never considered myself stupid so I’ve never paid the voluntary “Stupid Tax”. Sorry. Never been tempted.

Oh yeah, gasoline is down to $1.52 a gallon here now. Daughter got out the logbook for the van. We found $1.36 a gallon in December of 2008. That was the lowest since I bought the van in 2007. We’re almost there again.

Okay, enough rambling. I need to find something to watch or read. Or maybe go out for another walk.
