There are times that your love feels real.

You called me “your girl” last night. I reread that text a million times. Each time my heart fluttered like a school girl about to get her first kiss.
We’ve known each other 10 years now and you still have the ability to give me butterflies. When I’m near you I long to be held.
You’re kind and gentle way with me makes me have this great respect and admiration in you. The way you take care of me and our lily is done without a second thought.
You are adored by my family. You have finally opened me up to your family. It’s been a slow process. But, I’m patient. There’s no hurry.
We may never be married. We may never be romantically in love.
