Not sure I have a lot to say. Sun is shining. It’s cold. The radio is playing a pre-game show for Badger’s basketball. I have water running into the bathtub. I guess that’s it for now. If I think of anything else I’ll come back and type some more.
*
Ah yes. I am back. And I plan to type some more.
Lucky you.
I had a nice bath with bubbles. I took LeCarre with me. We had an enjoyable time.
Later I was forced to get dressed and go for a walk. Outside!!! With Gracie and Jim. We went not too far but it still counts as a walk. The sky was full of delicate colors. A stripe of pale blue at the horizon blended into a stripe of pink that blended into a stripe of white that became a pale sky blue. Sunset was coming. And the sky was meeting the ground in the east away from the prospective sunset.
The walk felt really good. It still feels good a couple hours later. I really want to to it again tomorrow. I want to feel myself move across the ground. I want to see the dog run. I want to see her see the deer on the far hill. I want to see Gracie storming through the snow filled road ditches. I want to be part of the world.
Wish me luck in actually doing it, will you?

My fitbit isn’t working. Not sure why. I don’t know if I should make more effort in getting it to communicate with my computer or if I should just get a new one. I’d like a more expensive one with a watch and heart rate monitor. One with a pretty colored strap. I wonder if I should indulge myself.... or if I should just walk for the glory of it.
Oh computer woes and wins:

win — I finally downloaded Yahoo Messenger successfully (again). I lost it in a very long story a couple years ago and then when I tried to get it back I couldn’t. But today, doing nothing I hadn’t done before, it worked for me. I credit a Windows updates in both the fact I couldn’t do it and the fact that I did it.

win and woe- here is a fantastic website I can’t get into. Try it and see if it works for you and if you like it. Tell me what you like about it if you get in, please. It’s full of fabulous quotes and pictures of the cream of Hollywood and Broadway. Lots of Tennessee Williams and Brando and James Baldwin and Greta Garbo and Paul Newman and Tuesday Weld and Anthony Quinn. Check out snapshots if you like.

James Grissom has a book called Follies of God: Tennessee Williams and the Women of the Fog that Amazon will let me buy without any trouble at all.

I’m looking forward to popcorn. With butter.
