paradox in poetry

Most professional training
begins with an entrance exam
but for an OB-Gyn, it ends with one.
Yet the path to being
a toll booth operator
begins with an exit interview.
The English language is pretty screwed up
but Russian language screws you.
Or so they say in Paradox City
where the grass is green and
the linguistic turns are pretty
oh won’t you please take me home.
