Regarding the last entry, I really didn’t expect such overwhelming support in my favor. Even though I shouldn’t feel like the bad guy, sometimes I do.

Sometimes I push too hard and can be pretty immature, but for fuck’s sake I mean well :)

Anyways, despite that, it’s been a good year. A year full of fun, food, friends, beer and cigars. Anyone who has visited my instagram page can attest to that. There’s definitely a lot of food, alcohol and cigars on my instagram feed. I have no fucks to give about that. If you follow my instagram, you damn sure know what you’re getting into ;)

Career-wise, I think i’ve hit a slump at the moment. I’ve been working freelance jobs for the last few years. While they’ve been consistent, I just feel like i’m going through the motions at this point. I’m currently unemployed and am happier for it. My contract wasn’t able to be renewed in November and I was more than ok with it. At that company, they were essentially making projects more complicated then they should have actually been. It was frustrating to say the least. The funny thing is, the last week of work, where they should have worked me to the bone, was my lightest week… They could not get items ready to test in time. Basically, when the items were ready to test, I was already gone. I wasn’t going to be there to work on them. Lovely feeling!

Loved the people I worked with, hated the process there.

On the photography front, who knows. As long as I’m happy taking photos, and everything that goes with it, I’m going to keep doing it. It’s nice/awesome being asked to and actually doing some event photography (namely dodgeball bar photos and the occasional charity event). It could be time to finally make a run at turning this into a side-gig. Though I’ve still got LOTS to learn, I think I can pull this off.

Traveling, I haven’t done too much of that. Went to Chicago and Seattle.

Could have had more fun in Chicago if my friend wasn’t stubborn as fuck about getting his car battery replaced. That chewed up so much time that I didn’t get to play tourist. Next time.

Seattle, I definitely had a lot of fun. Got to hang out with my favorite person (see last entry… it involved her). We had fun while she had free time, but I definitely had fun exploring Seattle on my own as well!

I guess coming into the new year… More travel, photography and hopefully some more fun career related stuff :)

Take care everyone and thanks for reading. Especially my previous entry!
