Right Job, Right Location.... again.... thus.... conflicted emotionally.

Today I am applying for two more County Attorney Positions. One, it would be nice to get but it isn’t an absolute DREAM job.
The other one is. It is Assistant County Attorney (the job I’ve wanted for YEARS) and it is in THE perfect location. It is an hour away from my parents, 47 minutes away from my brother, less than an hour and a half to my best friend, and an hour and 40 minutes to my inlaws. Seriously… just about perfect location.

So I’m trying to balance excitement, hope, angst, and despair. Because… this isn’t the first so-called “dream job” I’ve applied for. And after my record on the job hunt… it seems wisdom would suggest a determined effort tempered by the likelihood of failure.
