So. OD has been down for nearly four days. I really hope everything comes out alright on the other side.

The past week has brought over a foot of snow. And I'm still amazed that after three weeks of rain, freezing rain, snow, and wind the Saran wrapped busted out window has not leaked a single drop of moisture. And that was a quick five minute temporary fix.

I'm getting pretty settled in over at the student union. With my new best friend, Mr. Microwave. I carry over my knapsack and my reusable grocery sack full of snacks. A nice comfy chair and a cup of hot chocolate. Paradise. I did try three different Michelina dinners. I wasn't impressed. There are plenty of brands left to try.

And the student union has been closed this weekend. So I was back to sleeping in until 1 or 2pm and then walking to the store, as usual, but then heading over to Hardee's to sit for ten or so hours instead of going to the student union first for a few hours.

I'll be going over to the university library tomorrow to see if they are open. It's been two weeks since I've had a wash-up or shampoo. I'm feeling kind of greasy.

I found an iPhone 5 lying in the snow. I'm trying to find a charger so that maybe I can get into the phone and find the owner (the loser?). If the phone is locked I guess I've got a pretty fancy paperweight. It is a very pretty little machine.

I called Mom today. She was sitting outside in her carport with her sewing machine working on Christmas presents. I told her I was watching the snow melt off the van. My oldest niece is getting married in May. My second oldest niece is having a baby boy at the end of January. My sister is going back to New Zealand for four months.

I received an email from Momma tonight. I guess Jassy told her that I'd moved the van and she wanted to confirm that. She said she'll be here in the morning. She said she had a new child support debit card and presents. Presents? What the hell? I told her if she arrived before noon that I'd certainly still be in my sleeping bag and to just hop in the passenger's seat up front. Maybe I can talk her into taking me out for coffee in exchange for some groceries. It's worth a try.

Anyway, we'll see how many people from OD find me here.
