London. in The Wonderland Years: 2015. Done.

cause i haven’t written about this yet. er blogged. w/e. the point being.

so London was.really nice. i’ve been lucky enough to go 3 times not just once. i first went when i was 18. and i want to go again that’s how much i love it. um the people are nice, reserved which is what I liked about them as i’m not a fan of.........like friendly outgoing people. even at Liberty [it’s this huge dept. store for those not familiar] it was only after a few mins. that the lady asked me if i was alrite. [which to me seems more personal. than ‘can i help you?’ but w/e]. yeah on the subway it’s so like silent. The people are quiet but the city isn’t. like you hear trucks out at 5 in the morning. well in Bloomsbury anyway which is where we stayed. We’ve stayed there before.
evidently Londoners aren’t the type to make conversation and it’s hard to make friends but [and i only know this cause it was in the lady’s book. ‘the lady’ being the manager of the flat we stayed in] once you’ve made a friend you’ll meet some of the most loyal, supportive and understanding people ever. ‘course that could apply to any friend a person has. sounds like Pat. they um. but if you want help w/ something like where something is they’ll help you within like 5 mins.
My mom & i we.........well we had tea at Liberty in their cafe area. The service was nice the place was crowded and loud. i got raspberry tea it was good she got vanilla. we saw 5 shows 2 at half price. oh we saw Cats our first day i’d never seen cats except. for like snippets of it on PBS. it was really good yeah i’d see it again. there’s not any talking in the show. We saw Les Mis, ‘the mousetrap’, ‘lion king’ and Phantom. we liked all of them but ‘lion king’. The humour’s for children and i don’t like. relate to the story but the set’s cool and I like the music. i guess the show was like that. er i mean every time i’ve seen it it’s been like that.apparently. to some people they probably really like it.
The Mousetrap is great we saw it the first time we were there. ‘les mis’ was really well done. the floor spins like the stage floor. er the stage floor spins which i’m not a fan of. and we were sitting on the aisle cause. my mom prefers that but I prefer sitting in the middle as i feel safer. oh and this lady was in my LOS and then she moved then a guy was in it and he kept moving, so. The show wasn’t as sad as i thought it was going to be.
Mousetrap is an Agatha Christie play. it started off slow and then got better. apparently the thing about her characters is you suspect everyone. like well the suspect might be Person A no wait but maybe Person B or C.......it’s been running since 19...........51 1951 i mean. ‘phantom’ is good. it’s creepy and sad. Being that i don’t like heights i wouldn’t want to play the phantom. also that’s not a female role, so.
oh so at, as my mom calls it, ‘halftime’ they have ice cream. well they have it to purchase they don’t just hand it out. yeah people in cold countries eat ice cream. I don’t eat ice cream any time of yr. as i don’t like it. They don’t have enough leg room in those theatres. I’m not a particularly tall person but I do have long legs. [well i’m.average height for a woman 5‘4].
We went to 2 museums the Tate Britian and the British Museum. like you can just walk into the public museums there they’re free. and we saw the Wallace Collection. and Kensington Palace. [i like the royals]. and Hyde Park the Thames the Peter Pan statue which i loved. yeah when i told evan about it he’s like ‘I have to go there!’. to the statue. oh and we saw the subway a lot of it. and Selfridge’s Harrod’s Gortnum. their window displays Regent St. which is like times sq. the city itself. We had italian food oh and i had eggs benedict for the first time it was.......well it was different. it’s an acquired taste i think.
We. watched movies on tv ‘sister act’, ‘the women’ [the remake] and the bees one ‘the secret life of bees’. we watched a penelope knight show which neither of us cared for. the weather was.it’s cloudy a lot but it doesn’t get super cold.
