Thursday afternoon in New Diary

Well my worker came today. Deena is her name. Saw where she died her hair. I can never understand why women like to die their hair. Anyway she did a good job in keeping my apartment clean. She made pancakes then dusted and ran the sweeper. We talked for a little bit She showed me pictures of her sons and her girlfriend. She said that she liked to go fishing and she goes to some placer in Ohio. Said she also likes to go to the range and shoot guns I said I never did eather.

I helped Chocolatechip today after she left. The Community Breadbasket came today with a box of food. I went down and lifted the box into a grocery cart. Took it to her apartment and lifted it on her table. She has trouble with her knees and can’t lift heavy objects so I helped her. She put her stuff away and then came up t o my apartment.

We had a nice chat while she visited. We talked about the people who were getting food. There was this one girl down there named Peggy. Chocolatechip said that she did not speak to her. I said she does not speak to me either. We met her new neighbor down there. She was friendly and talked to Chocolatechip. Then we Chocolatechip was talking about how she agreed to help this one lady set up for the Christmas party. She said she was surprised that Alice picked her and wondered why she was chosen. Then we played a round of 500 Rum. We did two hands and this time I won by five points.

Aarons called me. They said they will pick up the computer today between 3 and 6. I asked them how long they will have it. They told me it depends on what they find If it is a virus it will take a while longer because they will send it to the shop. I asked if they did loaners and they said no. I said I think it is a matter of cleaning up files. Told them it will not let me get into my Comcast email account and acts very slow and sluggish. They said they will have to check it out and if that is all their is then I will get it back tomorrow.

Well I did something stupid today. I ended up buying that ebook Name of the book is State of Denial: Bush at War. This is the third volume in the series Kept thinking and thinking about this damned book. I just had to have it. It cost about $15.99 Oh well I have everything else I need What the hell I said to myself. Still I kind of wish I could have used greater will power in resisting temptation. I am so weak.
