Eating, swallowing and trumping in blackpropaganda

We had an excellent meal last night with a whole group of people - but the service was not great. It shows how popular the place was that there was no way we could be on one table - so we were on four - but then, on a long table you never get a chance to talk to lots of people anyway. The real problem was how well they could cope with 21 people, a still busy restaurant - even thought we had pre-ordered. Bringing all the dishes out at the same time is not easy in those circumstances.
However when the starters came they were good - and my steak was excellent with a great sauce - and SW..’s salmon was good too. So everyone seemed happy - and I think by the time we were leaving the waiting staff had gone, and they were wanting us away too. We were just getting a round to talking to other people - a and good food and wine meant we were all pretty happy. Luckily SW.. only had a small glass of wine and was driving.
Today we have a choice of ballroom dancing - or wine tasting - this afternoon - hmm - difficult choice!!!!
On other matters, it seems 300,000 people in Britain want to ban Donald Trump from entering the country. I am sure that bothers him not a bit. Perhaps some of his more erstwhile followers do not know where Britain is anyway. He already alienated many people in Aberdeenshire in Scotland by building two golf courses near a protected site - pure vanity project. But as someone wrote - they laughed at Hitler! Can we trust the great US public to make an informed choice for President? That is a rhetorical question.
And just to know where you stand - so to speak

Ooooh ballroom dancing! I would love to do that?
And because I just love a good steak, what was the sauce on it?

A pepper sauce - not too hot - and the dancing is great exercise as well as getting close to each other.

Steak, dancing and swallowing sounds like a fantastic date night if you ask me ;)

I'm simply disgusted at Trump. Thank goodness many Americans agree. We got into a heated discussion about it at the dinner table the other night--my FIL in agreement with Trump. >_<
Sounds like a challenge for the restaurant but something that can be prepared for. I used to work at a steakhouse and we had parties all the time. Getting the food out and timing is always the biggest struggle
