While Walking Home From Work... in meh...

So, went to the store. Uneventful, but I always laugh at myself when I’m listening to music while I’m in the store. I will dance while pushing a cart in a heartbeat while lipsynching and feeling every word. It’s hilarious.

Put my last two dollars in the Salvation Army bucket before I went in and when I came out, dude was trying to hustle me for some more money talking about he needed 50 cent for a new bell. I’ll show up another day with a bell for him. He will probably not like that. LOL

So, I catch the bus just in time. I walk down the street to get to home. Now, I’ve walked down this street many times and sometimes I see this guy. He’s older. He’s very nice. We speak all the time. I sometimes stop. This is the guy who has the dog that made my grandson laugh hard. I had never heard him laugh like that until this dog decided to howl at us when we were out on a walk. Again, hilarious moment.

Anyway, on my walk home, he just so happens to be in his backyard burning something in the grill. I stopped and said, “Hello Stranger.” I caught him off guard and scared him. But we had a very nice conversation, kind of sad, but nice. He was always saying be careful, but he was really on that tip. He told me about the woman he’s been living with. He’s been trying to get her out. She can’t be there unless he is and even then, get out. He told me a lot of intimate things. It’s amazing how you can just sit there and be an ear. And people WILL talk and tell you all their business.

First, I need to stop being suspicious of everyone that asks me about my relationship status. I’m use to the where yo man at questions. But when they are on the sly with trying to get that information…I think it’s more of how they ask me the question. Like he said, “I can’t remember. Did you say you had another half, husband or someone like that?” You know good and damn well our conversations have never been anything other than Hello, nice weather, how are you type questions so of course you don’t remember because we’ve never talked about it. Just like I didn’t know you had 3 sons. “I can’t remember, what did you say your name was?” I never told you, but thanks for trying. So we exchanged names. All is well. LOL He proposed that maybe one day we sit down and shoot the breeze. I said absolutely.

But there it is. Maybe that’s the man of my life. LMAO

Take care of one another.

Kindest regards,
Sister
