Today was a great day. I was up at 7:30 this morning. I went through my mourning routine which is getting two cups of coffee in me for breakfast. Chocolatechip came up and we talked for a while We talked about getting on the van and how anxious I get when I have to leave my apartment. She said all I need to do is shower and make sure I have clean clothes. I said I have that covered. She asked me what time I want to go outside and I said around 9:30. We talked some more and then she left for her apartment.

I was ready to leave mine by 9:30. We were outside and waited for the van to pull up. Connie was right on time. She took us to the bank first. I was going to get SSI check. Then bank teller was telling me they were trying to get a hold of me. She asked me if I left an envelope last time I was in the bank. I said yes I might have. To make a long story short I had lost an envelope with $23 in it. They had it at the bank. This was like a Christmas miracle. I had $23 extra today.

After the bank Connie took us to Wal Mart. I put money on my debit card and we did some grocery shopping. We got a good load. I bought pop, coffee and subs for supper. Also got some skillet dinners. We had just finished shopping and were outside the door and Connie pulled up. We did not have to wait

Got home in good time. I put my groceries away and then played with my Nook for a while. Since I had extra money this month I used part of it to buy a book Bush at War That seems next on my list of books to read.

Chocolatechip came up around 1:25 and we talked for a while. She was telling me that she heard that one of her neighbors is getting evicted. His name is Jimmy. He is an elderly gentleman. She said that he was complaining too much. We talked about Jimmy for a while then we played a short game of cards and watched TV We had our subs at 4 tonight. They were pretty good.

Yes, this was a good day indeed
