I made it! With many short, half-assed entries, but pretty good considering how crazy life has been lately.
Oh! I got an email last week from one of the doctors from my last externship who guided me through my surgery day there. He said that the group of 4 kittens I spayed/neutered came in for boosters and were doing well. Also, the owners were impressed by my surgery skills and how well the incisions were healing. Made me feel good :)
Doctor’s appointment today went fine. I am indeed on the every three year pap smear program so yay for that. My doctor was happy she got to order an “exciting” test aka my rabies titer. It was cute. She’s very sweet.
Afterwards I met Aaron at the coffee shop/bakery across the street and we got delicious pizza and brought home some of their fruit coffee cake, which is one of my favorite baked goods of all time. Mmmm…so tasty.
Tomorrow my goal is to email the externship director of the place I’ll be next week to figure out my schedule. Not sure how much time I’m hoping for in ER/ICU as emergency medicine terrifies me but too much dentistry may make me go crazy. Hmm…
