Sunday morning in Day to day life from a woman that turned 60 in Oct 2014 and who lives on a farm and Retired on January 2, 2016. I plan to do more sewing, work outside in the yard and just enjoy my retirement.

Early to bed; early to rise. Started and completed a quilted changing pad and med size reversible receiving blanket. Pink colors.

Have done a lot of online shopping in the last couple of days. I need to take inventory of what I’ve ordered but think I’m close to being done. lol Well, I certainly hope so. My cc company may call me just to verify I’m using it. I hardly ever use the one I’m using so they may be happy it is getting some action. Or compared to other transactions from other card holders, my purchases aren’t even counted. I count them and intend to pay it off before interest is applied.

Raining again this morning. Cold too but not freezing which is good. Will check to see if the river is up in a bit. I plan to go to church this morning. If I must go around, then I’ll stop at Walmart on the way home. If I don’t have to go around, I’ll wait to go to Walmart tomorrow after work.

I’m cold this morning. My nose is cold. Hate for my nose, hands, or feet to be cold.

It is time for lots of folks to put out and up their Christmas decorations. I will wait for another week or two. Since I like leaving them up until New Year’s I usually wait a little longer than some do. If the weather clears and the sunshines on a weekend day I hope to get some outside stuff up and out. That may happen before the inside if the weather cooperates. If I get nothing else out for the outside, I will get the nativity out.

It is quiet and I like it. I need to head to the shower and dress for church services. Oh, and we’re planning on building a new kitchen and dining area with a couple of classrooms soon. Not sure when the contractor will or can get started, but the old part of the church will have to be removed first. Not sure everyone realizes that this is not the greatest time to have a demolition so close to the plumbing, but guess they will figure it out and hopefully the contractor will have a plan to keep the water lines from freezing during the tearing down and building. I really wish we had more people attending, but when we start building up in numbers, they always seem to dwindle back to the average attendance of 15-25. We’re not doing something right.

Have a wonderful Sunday. Take care and God Bless
