Cold front rolling in... in blackpropaganda

Winter is rolling in this weekend - we are having torrential rain - then in comes the cold air - snow on the hills possibly - maybe a bit on low ground - and this keeps going until Sunday. So the woodburning stove is lit - the heat is on low - and it is a joy not to be going anywhere.

Some evidence of Black Friday in some of the shops - and odd to see a chap I know wheeling a new flat screen tv around Sainsbury’s - and I had 13 new e mails , a lot from Amazon all telling me about BF (as I might call it) bargains. Great way of deleting them in one go.
Did I mention it’s raining?

And very soon the UK might be bombing sites in Syria associated with ISIL, ISIS, DAESA, Islamic State - call it what you like. We all know bombing will not get rid of the problem - and to trust the ground war to a whole set of ‘moderate’ Islamic fighters has been shown to be useless by the USA. looks like ‘boots on the ground’ will be the only way - and no state is willing to say that - at the moment.
So - lots of rhetoric in Parliament - and you can see people with their fingers crossed.
