Berlin - part 2 in Adventures in paradise

I’m at one of Berlin’s airport’s, three hours early for my flight LOL.
I don’t like taking chances whilst over here. I leave WAY too much time. They say to get here two hours early, so three I should be right, right?
Plus I still only have hand luggage. Four weeks into my trip and still on hand-luggage. No fucking idea how I’ve managed to shove my souveniors in there. They are all small things, naturally, other than my Disneyland statue thingy and a few t-shirts. I’m already wearing the Amsterdam underwear. My stuff is mostly clean, other than what I’m wearing, and that’ due to the smoking in one of the nearby bars where I stayed. Yep, you could smoke and drink at the bar! The Italian guy I was drinking with was in heaven.
Unfortunately it meant my clothes stank for the next two days, and still do now.

It’s been crazy. I arrived here alone and last night I was drinking with nine other gay guys, from all over the world. The previous night there were another two, who were an English couple on their 5-year anniversary. I think I already wrote about them. Long story short - they wanted me to go back to their hotel for a threesome. Initially they wanted me to join them in the darkroom for a wank. Neither of those things happened lol. They were nice and good looking enough. It was more that one of them seemed more keen on it than the other one did, and the last thing I want to do is potentially be guilty of unstabilising such a long-term relationship. That’s probably stupid. I don’t know their story or if they are open or what. One would assume so. I just wasn’t that into it. I was probably more into the Italian guy, who was this flamboyant, funny guy who spoke with his hands a lot and was always hungry. I kept calling him, ‘Typical Italian!’ because Italian’s love their food.

So last night, even though I’d been there two day, I met the guys from the rooms other than mine. There’s three or maybe four rooms in that gay youth hostel and we were surprised as each other than none of us had met. I guess we were all out doing stuff during the day, and I had arrived late at night and was on the hunt for my charger etc etc, but anyway, we all ended up having a piss-up in the common-room, laughing and getting along. I was thankful that everyone spoke English. We only had one German native among us, who was a guy from South-Eastern Germany somewhere. Quite cute actually.
The rest of us were the Italian, the Taiwanese, a Hong-Kongese (is that right?), a different English guy, Brazilian, a Mexican, an American (Texas) AND another Aussie! Except he was from Melbourne, and I’m from Brisbane. To foreigners, we were just the Aussies, even though our two Australian cities are about 1600 kilometers apart haha.

Some of them had just checked in, but a lot had been there for the week and were staying the weekend. I was so jealous they get to experience the weekend here, because that’s when most of the wildest parties are. They were such funny guys and the Brazilian and the Italian were probably the most talkative. The Brazilian guy was very built and confident and I kept jokingly stereotyping him as ‘wild’, as that’s always been my perception of the South Americans I’ve come across haha. Usually party a lot and have big dicks. I had no doubt he had one also.

The guys were great. We went to a food place and a few bars together. I’d already drank too much the previous night with the Italian guy and the English couple. I almost threw up but managed to hold it haha.
And here I was, adding to it again.
But hey, when in Rome as they say.

I wish I could describe it all. Every little detail. Everyone had their own perks and quirks and the other guys joked about each others cultures and tried to mock each others dialects and accents and we all toasted glasses “To Berlin!”.
Unfortunately, I had to leave the party early, around 12:30am… you know, when nightlife in Berlin is only beginning to pick up.

I knew the other Aussie guy was interested in me. And I was into him also. He was this gorgeous Asian-Australian guy who I was stunned I hadn’t run into earlier. I saw him sitting in the small kitchen area earlier on and was like ‘damn, he’s cute!’ I had a feeling he thought I was hot too, and I was sure of it at the second bar when I could feel his eyes on me whilst I chatted among the others.
He’s in Berlin, trying to get a Visa. I wish him the best.
Naturally, he went back to the hostel when I did, and we hooked up in the shower. I couldn’t believe this was happening. I know he was another Aussie, but he was clearly my favourite among the group.
He asked me after we hooked up, ‘Did you know I was interested?’ I just laughed and said, ‘Yeah.’ He said to hit him up if I’m ever in Melbourne. I said the same for him in Brisbane. I told him he’d probably be working here anyway. He seemed to know all the cool clubs to go to in Berlin, so I get the impression he’s experienced a lot of the culture and gay scene here.
In fact, I got most of the guys details to add to Facebook, so we can keep in contact. It was only the English guy who didn’t have it, but the couple did. The slutty-one of those has been messaging me a lot since haha.

I am now off to Manchester! Provided I get through security etc. I don’t see why I wouldn’t. I double-checked and triple-checked I’d filled in everything correctly. I even got their app to show on my phone. So hopefully I should be back in the UK just after lunchtime. I won’t be meeting Andrew again until he arrives around 2pm, so I will just wander around for a few hours.

The English couple gave me so many tips on Manchester and partying. The other English guy didn’t really like it and was wondering why I was choosing going there over Berlin. I had to tell everyone that Berlin was just a bonus for me during those five days I had off.
I’ve made a mental note that I need to come back in their Summer, when it’s the wildest. Apparently it gets as hot here as it does back at home in our Summer! I was stunned, because it’s rarely gotten over 1 degree, being Autumn here now. Our Winters rarely get that cold.

I couldn’t believe it though. The Brazilian guy has been here a while and I saw a photo on his Instagram of snow. It fucking SNOWED here the day before I arrived. White everywhere. But it still hasn’t snowed for me on this trip. So I am still a snow-virgin :(

Oh well. Small things. Crazy time in Berlin, and I told everyone to come visit me in Brisbane. They won’t, but hey, it’s out there :)
