I had a couple of very weird dreams last night. In this one dream I was at West Liberty I remember one of my old teachers, a Mr. Forrester. I was in his class. He was giving a test and we had to write an essay. I froze. I couldn’t remember the material and this was one of my best classes. Then another teacher came in. He wanted to give a test on his class. Half t he students wanted to take it and the other half didn’t want to take it. I said lets take it now and get it out of the way if you do not know it by now it is too late.

Then we go in an argument over the virtues of a liberal arts education or a strictly science education. This was the weird part. I was arguing that liberal arts and science need to be integrated We need to have both or we will lose touch with our humanity. A strictly science background I said and then we would end up with scientists like the German rocket scientist who worked for Hitler during World War II

There were other parts to this dream People were trying to collect money for this girl who has cancer. Her picture was in the paper and they were passing the paper around. Then they are talking about this facility off campus. They were hiring but nobody knew what they did in there and everything was hush up. We were talking that it was a bad place and they were conducting experiments on humans. But nobody really knew anything about it. This was when we got into the science v liberal arts debate.

That dream faded out and I was involved in another dream. I was dreaming about World War II. I was a Nazi scientist. I was working von Braun. It was sat the end of the war nd we were trying to get to the American lines. Eventually we did make it there and we wound up in the states working on rockets. But we really were war criminals who used slave labor to build rockets.

Other than these crazy dreams I had a good night. I did a little reading in my book he Last Lion. I only have two more very long chapters to go on this book then I will be finished. But I enjoyed it so much I hate to finish it. it was a very good book. Life is good.
