Nudist Soup in Day to Day

I can’t let this entry go by without mentioning the terrorist events in Paris. I was going to write a whole ranty entry. But I’m not going to get angry, that’s what these scumbags want. Suffice to say…

Friday 13th November saw a crowd of murderous lunatics, fired up by the belief in an insane religious fairytale, slaughter over 130 innocent people in Paris with guns and explosives. And for what? I don’t even know what they were trying to achieve. Do they think that slaughtering people in the street is going to somehow turn us all to Islam? Are we all going to watch these filthy, deranged cowards gun down our loved ones and then convert to the religion which they claim sanctions it?

Or perhaps it’s respect they want. If that’s the case, know this scumbags; terrorism doesn’t earn respect. Point a gun at someone, or kill the people they love and they will probably fear you; but that’s not respect, and you should learn the difference. Lower the gun and people will feel only contempt and loathing for you and your ridiculous philosophy.

I’m not going to cover this again. These people don’t deserve my time.

In other, less depressing news…

This weekend the boy took his black belt martial arts exams, and passed. He gets awarded his black belt on 11th December, and he will be the youngest to be awarded the black belt in his school’s history. He’s still 9 years old. So I was indeed a proud daddy on Saturday afternoon.

Over 40 people at nudie night again on Saturday. Too many people really, there was congestion in the pool and the jacuzzi was a bit like nudist soup. I did 32 lengths of the pool.

Also I’ve been pulling up the corn plants at the allotment. I need to go back there and cut back the fruit bushes and turn over the rest of the soil. I don’t know what to do with Blueberry bushes. Ours has gone wild.

Tomorrow I will work from home because the boy is doing his school play.

It’s cold, super cold, and I don’t like this time of year.

Here is a list of stuff I absolutely have to do this week:

Call the Vauxhall garage and get my car booked in for a checked for fire risk. Loads of them have caught fire and I don’t want to burn my family to death. Also, I should get that rear light cluster replaced while it’s there. I reversed into a telegraph pole, just, you know, FYI.

Send Christmas card to friends in NZ. I don’t think I have ever managed to get one to them on time before.

Send parcel to Aunt and Uncle in Kent.

Start buying father Christmas presents for the boy, the wife etc.
