I don’t really keep up with video games anymore. In addition to being timesinks, the stuff costs moneys. Nonetheless, the game showed up on my radar. I’ve watched a couple of reviews, and well.

I just can’t see spending $110 for a game. Yeah. $60 for the base and $50 for a dlc. Last time I bought expansions was Sims2, kids. And those were $20-$30.

As well, the style of the game doesn’t seem to be for me. Apparently there’s very little storymode. Forgive me, but I don’t play first person shooters online. I can roll with grouping in mmorpgs, because there’s a sense of teamwork. But I’m really not interested in getting sniped by some 12 year old kid who says “URFAGN00B”.

If I want to kill demons, I still own doom2, and doom3.

If I want a good storymode or just killing bots, I still own Star Trek Voyager: Elite Force.

If I want a simple game with a base-capturing facet, I still own Star Wars: Battlefront.

Maybe down the road I’ll buy it, but for now, I have a fuckton of old games which I love, (and some uh games I haven’t started yet).
