Clearing, booking and Saturday funnies in blackpropaganda

Another grey day - but plenty to do at home since I started clearing out a desk - which leads to more clearing out etc etc - it certainly passes the time.

Now trying to work out the best time to go to Spain in the New Year - and when you think you have some dates a letter arrives which invites SW… to a special event in northern England in the middle of January - when we could be in Spain. She wants to go to the event I know - and it is close to where the kids (!) live - so I have started the task of looking at flights and prices. Am I the only one that finds this kind of activity stressful?

I know there are a lot of people who would be very glad if that was the only source of stress!!!

And the good news - I have a grandson swimming in a Schools’ competition in the Olympic Pool in London - now that is a great thing - just hope he manages a PB at the very least.

More good news - Strictly Come Dancing comes from the Tower Ballroom Blackpool tonight - and I look back with real nostalgia to when I danced there back in the 90s when I was tutoring on Summer Schools and we had an evening in Blackpool. Wonderful floor - and a big organ which rises up from the stage - That was some experience - as the actress said to the organist.
