NoJoMo Day 17 in Musings and Daily Events

Today was also nice. I work up and took a warm shower then E and I grabbed coffee on our way to his job. They want to promote him to advisor and today he is going to be shadowing to see if it’s something he wants to do/can handle. I wished him luck, wrote on his coffee cup and went on my merry way.

On my way to the train (I take the train from his job to school) Z texted me. We had a lovely conversation and he seems to really miss me. Maybe I will spend a night with him. I miss him too.

I made plans to see Mike on Friday. Mike is a really old friend of mine. We go back to 8th grade. We’ve had a thing for each other since then but never really had the time (or the singleness) to really be together. Last year, around this time actually, he came up here to see me (this was when I was dorming).

It was exciting! We were finally about to have the sex we’ve been wanting since fucking forever.

And..

It was mediocre. I think the anticipation ruined it for us. It wasn’t bad. But there were no feelings or anything. I think the next time we do it (if it ever happens) it’ll be better. But I don’t know the whole 8 years of waiting for it to happen really just didn’t make it as good. I also think that the first time having sex with anyone is never as good as it can be. Awkward. Nervous. Unsure of what to do. The second time though? It’s usually great.

In my experience anyway.

So yeah Mike and I got back in touch and he’s going to visit me during my lunch hour at work. I’m pretty psyched.

M and I talked for a bit today. I love hearing his voice. I can’t wait to go in tomorrow! And I’m covering for Michelle! Who sits right behind him! Gah!
I’m so excited!!

I have no other plans for today. I have class at 3 but other than that, I’m just sitting in the library.

It’s cold in here but my jacket is took heavy. I’m so tempted to just go to the campus store and get a sweatshirt. But money..
