Day Fifteen: What is your favorite holiday and why?
My favorite holiday growing up was Easter. It meant candy and cousins. We typically had happy Easters until my aunt and grandfather had a huge argument. After that, I replaced happy memories of Easter with happy memories of Thanksgiving. As a teenager I would eat a large lunchtime meal (my family always ate around 12:30) then took a nap with my dad on the couch while football was on. In the late afternoon my now ex-boyfriend and I would go to the movies. One year I went with my cousin and sister but usually it was with my ex-boyfriend. We would go to the movies and then I would come home for dessert at my grandmothers where all my family was playing card or Yahtzee and we would plan out black friday shopping. It was a day of no stress, good food, and good people.
