I rarely ask my dad for anything. If he gives it, I let him. I won’t hint around the fact that I need anything because I don’t like people doing that to me. So I asked for some money for gas. Just about 25 or 30 bucks. I went to pick it up after work. He didn’t tell Nanny I was coming. He had an envelope, but we didn’t know where it was. She just gave me 20 and I went immediately to the gas station where I was able to get half a tank of gas. I was happy. Then I got a text from him saying he forgot to tell her and to go back to the house because he left a package for me. “Package” in the black community is code word for anything you don’t want to say out loud. LOL So I went back to the house and she gave it to me and we sat and talked a while about my brother and my adopted sister. She’s another one who grew up with everything and her life is now just a struggle but she’s not strung out on anything.

So I was blessed with an extra 20 plus more than what I asked for. I put another 15 in the tank and then went to the store because my fridge is looking a bit hungry too. lol I still have 5 bucks on this target gift card. I took some stuff back and they didn’t give me cash (which I needed for gas) but put it on a gift card.

Going to have my grandbaby this weekend. I will bring his bike just in case I decide we can go somewhere to ride bikes. Depending on the weather too. It has been rather chilly these days, but I love it.

Going to log off of here and try not to get distracted doing some studying. I bluffed my way through my paper. I won’t turn it in for a draft because I will wait to turn it in. I probably didn’t even answer the question right anyway. The only thing I said was that I didn’t have a solid opinion of my own because I’m not always in trouble and I don’t have THAT many people around me where I’m going to court dates and such with them. So I really don’t know.

Well, that’s it. :-)

Kindest regards,
Sister
