Turn UP the television! in The odd entries from life …….

Grampound Road has been quieter in the run up to Bonfire Night, and Perrancoombe was much quieter there ever Stockport was in the month before Bonfire Night; there it was like I thought the western front was like over the two weeks round Bonfire Night.

We have had two or three big bangs in the last ten nights, as the bangs were heard in the back Ziggy went to a place by the front door, Lola was curled in Ziggy’s bed; her only reaction was to look up and then curl up again!

This morning is very wet, there is a 20/20 gray cloud cover and gusts of wind, the forecast is to clear at seven o-clock’s; whether it is clear or wet the fireworks will go up on one night or other …….
