Not sure that it is although I have done it in the past a couple of times. Course that was back “in the day” if you will.
I think I’ve figured out why the package didn’t get to its destination. I am pretty sure I didn’t pay enough postage. I hardly ever mail things these days and I had it in my head that a large PM envelope was a lower price to use than it really is. Guess that is the downfall of not knowing what you’re doing and using an automated mail machine. With that discovery I do have some hope that I’ll get the stuff sent back to me. I realize it may not, but I’ll keep praying that it shows up here eventually.
Made a bib for the upcoming baby shower and then fixed Dude’s hunting pants. I extended the waistband and in doing so, added 3 more buttonholes. Too many I’m sure, but I kinda like using the button hole foot and making button holes. heh
Take Dad to another appointment tomorrow. ENT this time and my brother said he would take Dad to the appointments on the 12th. That is a relief since I’ll have an employee off that day. I’m getting better and faster at scanning the tracking numbers on incoming packages and now the xray machine has been fixed so things are a bit better in that branch. I will feel better when they start the process fill the vacant position and the upcoming vacant position. It will get bad if things don’t start happening, but by he time it fails, the employee that is retiring the same time I do; we will be gone. Once I’m gone, I’m done and he is to. Life will go on and things will be adjusted and fixed as they always are in a crisis. Just a shame that so often it takes a crisis or failure of mission to get it fixed.
Picked two cherry tomatoes tonight for my salad. Since they are in a flower pot in front and close to the house, they’ve been protected a little from the cold temps at night. We still haven’t received a hard frost or freeze yet, but it will come and kill the green that is left.
Take care and God Bless
