An Open Epistle to Pope Francis and Others Who Deny Christ is the Only Way in Epistles

  1. Greetings in the name of Jesus,
  2. The name which is raised by God above all others.
  3. Peter, a saint of God, spoke saying, “Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole.  This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner.  Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.”
  4. These are the words spoken by Saint Peter after he had healed a man lame from birth.
  5. He and John had been jailed for this overnight,
  6. And were commanded to no more speak the name of Jesus.
  7. But they refused to heed the warning of the high priest and his men, choosing to suffer for the name of Jesus.
  8. For it was Jesus who had healed the man through them and not they of their own power.
  9. Men of this day, even the Pope Francis, head of the Catholic church, have said that all those who do good are assured salvation, with or without faith in Christ.
  10. In contradiction are these words of Peter, the man the Catholics claim was the first Pope and leader of Jesus’ church after His ascension.
  11. Who then is right? The current Pope, or the man that is claimed as the first Pope?
  12. To settle the dispute, I turn not to their deeds or lives, nor to their standing in the Church, neither to their repute,
  13. But I instead turn to Jesus, the “stone which was sat at naught” by the builders, and who became “the head of the corner”.
  14. Truly Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life; no man cometh unto the Father, but by me”.
  15. Who then who claims to follow Christ can say there is another way and contradict Christ Himself?
  16. Jesus again has said, “I am the door”, “I am the door of the sheep”, “I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture”, and, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.”
  17. How then can anyone, especially they who have read the scriptures, especially they who hold the high places of the church, say that all, regardless if they believe in Jesus, shall see heaven, when Jesus Himself, in Whom is only truth, said that He Himself was the Way and the Door
  18. (By which is meant the only way, and the only door),
  19. And still be counted a true follower of Christ?
  20. Did not Jesus tell Nicodemus, “Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God,” and “God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever should believe in him should not perish, but have everlasting life”?
  21. Did He speaking to Nicodemus not also say, “He that believeth not is condemned already because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten son of God”?
  22. Jesus, being the True Head of His Church, has spoken. And Peter, like Jesus, says that it is only through the name of Jesus, that mankind is saved.
  23. Let then no one, Pope or layperson, who claims fellowship with Christ, say that there is any other way to salvation.
  24. I say to you that anyone that claims salvation some other way is a heretic, who heaps on themself damnation.
  25. Furthermore, Jesus said, “Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity”.
  26. All such as have used the Lord and proclaimed His Name, but are not known of Him, are condemned by Jesus from His Own words.
  27. I say unto all that have professed Jesus, yet claim other means and paths to God, great is your condemnation.
  28. Greater is your damnation over even those who are lost,
  29. For the lost know not what they do, being ignorant of the Scriptures,
  30. But you who have heard and have known what is the true path and have turned aside, you shall receive double condemnation, having known what is truth and having turned aside.
