This week marks the middle of the term. I had my American Sign Language midterm. I got all the sign Language part right! I was very worried about it. It's soooo much harder than it looks! It's the fingerspelling part that is so hard.

I have really learned a lot of ASL though. I can't really say anything important though. I can say things like, "My name is Shannon." Or "I love trees." I can count to 99, however I should be able to count forever. I just can't remember 100 and 1000. Today we learned a few food words. That was hard because I was starving at the time.

My physiology class is going great too. The only class that is not going so well is physics. It's hard. I just don't get it.

Ok, I have to go to bed.

My grandfather was deaf, so I became somewhat familiar with ASL. He passed away quite awhile ago, so I'm a little rusty...It's really quite beautiful to watch. I love the fluid movement of it. [Mommy2Katie]
