My daughter has had her first real illness over the last few days. Being that it was her first one I was so worried. Her axillary temp was mostly about 101.7. However, it got as high as 103. They diagnosed her with an ear infection. However, I think they misdiagnosed her. She had a lot of wax in her ears and think they kind of assumed it was an ear infection. They shot her with an antibiotic. Two days later she was feeling a whole lot better and was back to her normal self. However, now she has a rash all over her. I took her back today and they changed the diagnosis. They never said she really didn't have an ear infection, but they did say she had Roseola. I guess a lot of kids get it, especially daycare kids. Once they have the rash they are no longer contagious and the rash usually last anywhere from 1 hour to 48 hours. It doesn't itch or irritate. It's just there to scare the crap out of first time mothers.

I can't believe her first birthday is 2 weeks away. That is crazy. I haven't had a bit of time to organize it though. School has me going nonstop. It's a good crazy though.

My ex, Ken, is still calling me. He called me today just to ask for sex. I told him "no" again and he actually got upset. This is how controlling he is. He is upset that I told him no even though we are not dating anymore. This is the only reason he called me today so I finally just let him go. Then he must have noticed how it "seemed?" so he called back and left me a message to take me out to dinner. I really don't think I will be answering the phone anymore when he calls. He makes me sick.

Well, I am going to call it a night. I wanted to write more, but I can't stop yawning.

KT had Roselia when she was 1'ish; her temp got high and stayed high for a couple days.. it was TERRIFYING! I can totally feel for you! I'm glad her temp broke and she's feeling better.
