An Update 07-08-2009 in Out in the Open

Lily is growing up beautifully. I still wake up every morning and wonder how I got so lucky to have such a wonderful little girl. She's happy. She's friendly. She's healthy. I am so blessed.

She's got her two bottom teeth. She's getting her top 4 in all at once! She hasn't got a fever. She hasn't got a rash. She doesn't fuss. She never seems irritated. It's almost like she could care less that she's getting teeth. Such a huge difference then when she had colic! She's just a happy go lucky baby. She only cries when she is hungry and/or tired. That's it. The rest of the time she is smiley.

When I was a baby it took me 14 months to learn to walk. I never crawled. I "scooted" wherever I needed to go. My Lily is doing the same thing. My nickname is "scooch" because of the scooting thing. Now Lily is Scooch the 2nd. I really hope it doesn't take her 14 months to walk though!! She's pulling up on stuff, so hopefully she's on her way.

I am registered for school. I will be full time come August. I am quitting my job to just do school and to raise Lily. I am very excited about it and can't wait to get started. I am craving that school setting that I miss so much. My brain is hungry. It needs to be fed.

Ken and I are still together. That's all I want to say about that now. Things are very rocky with us. However, I am ok with that. I have so much going on in my life right now that is good, that the fact that another one of my relationships is failing doesn't bother me a bit. I know it's not my fault this time. I am confident and content on where him and I stand. More on this later.

I am dieting again. I have lost about 5 pounds. It's a start. I am just eating healthier. I cut out fast food. I am trying to get exercise. I am simply just trying to enjoy life and not worry about my weight too much. However, I know I need to lose weight so I am just taking it one day at a time and one pound at a time.

I have been very busy lately. Of course that's because I am a single mom. However, I have never been happier in my life. I will try to post new pictures of Lily soon. I simply don't have the time right now. Soon, I promise!
