Yesterday was Columbus Day here - a national holiday, and made into a few s rival of the nation to emphasise unity and diversity even though Catalonia and Galicia were not represented at the parade in Madrid. The Spanish air display team are based close to us and we see them practising - they were at the parade and when they came back treated us to a short display - wonderful.
They keep promising rain but glad to say the sun keeps shining and C26.
Warm enough for SW to use the communal pool - me? - no thanks! I like to sit back and read the paper!
We have done all our main jobs here now clearing and putting stuff back the way we like it after the families have been here in the summer. We have sent a high chair and buggy to charity and made some room - sent old clothes away too. Still a tree and bourganvilla to prune and then we are done.
Off to have lunch at 2.30 pm - gazpacho, bread, anchovies, cava - and then a fiesta.
Hasta luego
