Peter Green’s Fleetwood Mat this afternoon, Peter Green’s wonderful guitar skills keeping me going on the cross-trainer and treadmill, and a little more in the background as I tackle the weights, I did see someone using a similar load of weights as me; rather than the twice or treble my ability. For now I take an iPod with me, so far I haven’t arrived with a bottle of water – nor matching head, wrist and ankle bands; my head gets warm but not my ankles!

For now I’m at a level I have to work to go beyond, I don’t feel I can’t say I’ve hit a wall after five weeks, I am managing to finish my session fatigued but not distressed; and still able to drive home. I intended to get to the gym early today, but I had left my membership some were, after a few minutes I found it in a different coat, and the Mini needs washing, so I took a detour before I could headed towards the gym. At the petrol station there was someone in the car-wash, and they were having the full Monty; drying as well as the wash – and there I was waiting!

So being ten minutes later than normal, when I retuned home Perranporth was all lit up, wearing it’s best for the festive season. Lola isn’t leaving her bed for a while, she’s been to her groomer, the groomer has dun a good job; leaving enough coat for the winter ahead.

Our Westie's not leaving her bed …...
