Thankful in Will Fly For Food

I have a lot to be thankful for this year. I always have a lot to be thankful for, some years it just seems particularly striking. I have a new job that I really enjoy.
My husband has a new job that pays better and he works fewer hours than his last job. He is very happy with it, too. Financially, I struggled for a few months with the new job but things have eased a little bit as I re-tooled my budget. I have $12,000 less debt than I had a year ago. I own my car outright now and don't have credit card bills. We started saving for a house. I started saving for retirement. I have health insurance for the first time in several years. N's mom has a job again. As a matter of fact, everyone who has struggled and/or been laid off is back to work. My friends are great.
My family is great.
My sister, who has had some complications with Baby #2 is due to deliver via csection December 10th and the baby is expected to be healthy. We look forward to meeting our new nephew and buying as much airplane-themed baby stuff that we can. I laugh loud and often. My coworkers are very similar to me - which contributes to a lot of that laughter. My husband and I made it through our first year of marriage and we are still very much in love. We are better together than we ever were single. I'm sure there are more but I keep getting distracted. Alas, maybe next year. <3 Sarah
