Library and used books in Books

In my last book entry I wrote about Harlan Coben. Which I am slowly going through his books. It is coming to a slow end. The library have a couple more audiobooks I can get at the actual library. I didn’t see any actual books there by him that I haven’t read already. Which leads me to used book stores. I found 4 books I need at a used book store where Dan is working. Which he hasn’t take the time to go get. He keeps saying I’ll do it tomorrow.

I’ve started listening to Michael Connelly’s Harry Bosch series. I have listened to A Darkness More Than Night. Listening to Lost Light which is book 9 of the series. I also have downloaded books 10-13 also. However I am not sure I actually like these books.

Darkness More Than Night The first one I listened to I was totally lost on what was going on. It all came together at the end. Also found it really hard to focus. Even though I am working I am pretty focused on my books. Thought it was pretty awful. I thought about that when I listened to the first Myron Bolitar book. Now I love it.

Lost Light. I at least know whats going on. I am about half way through the book. Most likely finish it tonight. Right now I am not sure I want to continue with the series.

I have listened to another book by this author called Void Moon which I really enjoyed. Which is not apart of the series. Right now I have mixed feelings for Michael Connelly.

I would like to listen to more detective series. I really enjoy a good crime series. However I do not know which to next. No ideas. Some series that I might try are lacking in audiobooks which is not good. What to do what to do. Just want something to listen to at work.

Right now I am on the waiting list for a David Baldacci book. See how that goes. The are hit and miss on the audiobooks. However that have a lot of audiobooks by this author. A lot of them are checked out.

I am now going for cheaper. If I can get the actual book cheaper then the ebook from Amazon, I am going to do it. I really want to go to that one book store. They have books I want there for $4-$5. The day I was in that town it was closed for some strange reason. The next time I am there I am going to go. I also looked at a local book store who also update their inventory online. Well 2 places. However that want $7-$8 for a used book. A little spendy I think. I want to check out some more book stores to see if they have a website....... I can get a kindle book for anywhere for $3.99 to well $17.99. The bigger price is for usually newer books.

I want to get a ebook from the latest James Patterson series Michael Bennet sometime soon. However right now I am waiting for a book through the library. Once I read that one I am going to read Alert from James Patterson.

Just finished Shelter by Harlan Coben. Which is one of his young teen books. Which is the nephew of Myron Bolitar, Mickey. I thought it was pretty good. Kinda on the this would never happen in real life and how the hell does he comes up with this stuff. Since I finished that an waiting for an ebook I think I am going to read my magazines until I get that book. I have Runner’s Wold and Women’s Health magazine subscriptions.
