Three trips …… in The odd entries from life …….

I have had an eye opener this morning, I take my Daughter to work quite often, but this morning I can see why most people doing cleaning work have a car; and not just getting there! This morning I stayed to help with getting her to her three caravans with the things she has to get there, there is a medium industry vacuum cleaner, one of those modern plastic barrows filled with bedding linen up to the handle, then there is the various cleaning substances for all the surfaces in a caravan!

The site is large and has over 400 caravans sited here and there, she told me it takes half an hour to just get those things to the caravans she is working on, and that was three trips! The site is rather like Cornwall, narrow winding roads with lots of ups and down; I didn’t say but it would take my an hour or more with out a car; and there would be the rest once at my caravans! When she gets a full time job I cant imagine it could be no more strenuous than this job! My Daughter is a good worker, now I know why she’s falls asleep half way though ‘One Foot in the Grave’ I’m not sure what my excuse is, once I was watching ‘One Foot in the Grave’ thinking it was one I hadn’t seen, but no I had slept though the last part of one and into a second; ‘Oh yes, I have seen that one’ says old Dad!!
