I think my transition from OD to Prosebox has turned into a fail. I still feel like it's my first day of school and I have no one to eat lunch with. I mean I do having several favorites here who I've been reading for years, but they all seem comfortable here and I still feel like an outsider. It's my own fault, I have only written 3 entries on here, but I do read and try to leave notes.

The ironic thing is that I hadn't written an entry over at OD in more than a year! Now all of a sudden I want to start writing again and expect nothing to have changed. I still have quite a few faves over there, some who swear they will be there until the end. I hate that we are all separated now, some here, some there. But I still come to both places to read everyone. And of course OD has been working great for over a week now.

Moving on. I hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving. Mine was great! I'm so lucky that I never have todo the cooking. My best friend Bonnie, or her sister, host every year and they are both amazing cooks.

A little background on my friendship with Bonnie - we have known each other since kindergarten! We attended the same Catholic school through the 8th grade. We became very close in 8th grade and then we were 2 of the very few who choose to go to public high school. We were like 2 scared little rabbits that first day lol. Anyway, with the exception of a few brief periods years ago, we have been best friends ever since. Our lives have paralleled each other's in so many way it's almost scary. And then about 5 years ago, our kids got together and before you know it, we became co-grandparents to Leah and then Zoe.

So anyway, I am not just close to her but to her whole family. Bonnie really outdid herself this year. There's always too much food but this bordered on ridiculous. I'm going to see if I can remember it all.

Susan cooked the meat. She roasted a 10 lb. turkey breast, baked a ham and made a pork loin roast.

We brought deviled eggs, stuffed mushrooms and the drinks.

Bonnie made the sides: Mashed potatoes Dressing Sweet potato casserole Green bean casserole Brussels sprouts (my favorite!) Vegetarian lasagna Some type of corn and black bean salsa Macaroni and cheese Gravy Rolls Desserts were pumpkin pie, apple pie, cherry pie, brownies, and something called pumpkin dump cake which was awesome.

It was a very enjoyable time with friends and family. So where did you have dinner and what did you eat? : )

P.S. question - if you comment on a post and the authors comments on your comment, do you get a notification. I know you get notified when you get a comment on one of your own post, but I don't know if you do in the above situation.
