I can’t believe it’s August. July was a BLUR of travel and visitors and WHAM, it was gone as fast as it came. I’m flying solo for the weekend while Aaron and Joaquin spend a few days in Minnesota, and then on Monday, we will slide back into a whole new routine for a few months until our new family member arrives in late September or early October and throws us into a whole new ‘normal.’

I’m so glad to be grounded, but so happy that things worked out the way the did.

Work is going awesome, our momentum continues to be fast and furious and we are mid-way through a massive restructure that I am OVER THE MOON about. Liana’s husband is starting in a week and he’s going to function in a director role, overseeing two other employees (and some freelancers as well). He’s super awesome and we’ve been trying to bring him over for quite some time, so we’re pumped. I’ve also hired one of my former employees from my previous life in Corporate America, and she’s super awesome and amazing and I’m so excited to bring her in to our little world.

I just finished two projects that were really tough, but ultimately really rewarding. The clients are awesome and I think we will be doing more with them in the future.

I’m officially DONE traveling until after this baby girl arrives and I’m so grateful. It’s awesome to be able to travel / workout / be active during pregnancy but it’s also SO NICE to just BE STILL. And enjoy the quiet moments. The few & far between.

Speaking of, I need to get off my pregnant butt and get it to a gym ASAP.
