I woke up early today. I wrote a long private entry where I talked about my new diagnosis. Then I hung out with fiancé for a while and listened to CNN all morning. I took my trash out and sat outside for a while. I stayed out there after she left. I saw a dear trot upon the other side of the street. She looked right at me then turned and ran towards the creek.
I am doing pretty good this morning. The new med Celexa must be working. On a scale of one to ten I would rate my depression as a 2. Also anxiety is very low as well . Been looking at my pantry and I am well stocked for food. I have 21 Banquet Homestyle Dinner Bakes I can buy more next week when I go shopping. I will have enough food to eat for the month plus have money to pay my bill and get my meds. What else is there to worry about?
Life is good. Remember the positives 1) I am alive. 2) I am in good health 3) I have a roof over my head. 4) I have a wonderful fiancé 5) I have food to eat and money for meds. 6) I have clothes to wear 7 I have cigarettes and am not out there bumming for smokes. 8) I have phone, internet and cable tv.9 I have interesting books to read. 10 I am not hounded by bill collectors.11 I have a wonderful support system at Healthways. 12 I have a new hearing aid. Life is pretty damned good.
