REALLY PISSED in LIFE OF A D.O.M. WIDOWER LIVING ON THE NJ SHORE

It me more and more angry with some faceless individual who invaded my personal space and took possession of my files on my computer and now is waving them in my face like a worm on a fishing hook. I checked with two really computer savvy friends and after reading the E Mail I received both of them fashioned on the same two items. The encryption level that has been used is a very strong one and virtually impossible to defeat as an individual unless you are a government agency.. It is named RSA2048 Criptowall 3.0. There were also mentions for me to log into a Browser on the TOR network which is for the Dark side of the Internet and makes origins of messages untraceable. My friends had the same advice, report this to the FBI.
I do have Back up on my files on a thumb drive and after the drive is scanned for mal ware I will look to see what can be saved. I am not too confident this will be possible.
Moving forward both men feel that my laptop cam be saved. First step will be to remove all my files. Then the computer can be reloaded with the operation system and other programs. One friend advocates this and my sponsor recommends replacing the hard drive.
When I tried to report the incident to the FBI I was redirected to a sister site, IC that handled Internet Crimes but I am not hopeful anything positive will happen.
Both of the people I consulted feel this is a Russian Criminal group as they seem to be the ones with the know how and history of running this type of enterprise.
What has me so totally aggravated is the feeling of helplessness and inability to respond. My program has taught me to ” Deal With It” but somehow I still want to go to the Matrix and fry their asses.
