My wake up call was 4 am. I woke up feeling pretty good. On a scale of one to ten I would rate the depression as a 3. Life is pretty good this morning. Of course my mood can take a nose dive at any time. But for now I am doing ok It is good to be alive.
Remember always to be mindful of my thinking because irrational thoughts can lead to depression. Always keep a positive outlook because I do have a lot of things to be thankful for. Remember 1) I am on top of the dirt. 2) I am in good physical health 3) I have a nice apartment 4) I have a wonderful fiancé. 5) I have food to eat and clothes to wear. 6) I have money for meds 7) I have books to read. 8) I have phone, internet and cable 9 I have a new hearing aid 10) I have a wonderful support system at Healthways. Life is pretty good
Life is pretty damned good. As for those thoughts I keep having remember to keep it positive. That is the ticket
