The Path In in Everyday Ramblings

This is the path back and the only way to get to the apartment house in the previous post. So I guess, unless they turned the building around (which appears to have been possible here) the cottage is sitting in what would have originally been the back lot.

I am having a life out here in the real world even though being mentally preoccupied with this neighborhood history. I am teaching (I had two caregiver dads on Tuesday, which was a delight as they were both funny and compatible with each other and in relatively good shape) and working (it is relatively slow now a few weeks after the mad rush to fiscal year end).

My continuing weird symptom is this ongoing fatigue that sits underneath everything I do. I had this blissful half hour this morning where I sat in the poofy chair with Diego who volunteered to sit in my lap and we watched the birds at the feeder array as I drank a big glass of water.

The cats like to drink out of my water glass too.

Most Honorable is coming up to Portland for some errands and he is bringing me lunch from a favorite local high-end deli. How cool is that?

Kes is at a small house near the beach on the coast with her best friend who is home from Toronto and another friend for a few days. She may stop by to see the cats on her way home tomorrow.

Tonight S. and I will take Frieda the poodle for her evening walk and then I am staying for dinner.

I am supposed to bring a story to share and it has to be true.

Hmmm. All the possibilities, hopefully someone else will go first. :)
