MexicanTrain in Talk Story

Aloha…

A few months ago… I was invited to join a new gourmet food group…

I readily accepted… then was delighted to find out… that after the meals… we would play Mexican train dominoes…

My friends are very nice… but once again I am the only single member… which is not a problem for me (nor for them either it seems)…

The food has been great… and cooking for the group when it is my turn to host one of the get-to-gethers has been a joy for me… much more fun than just cooking for “moi”…

Tonight is my turn again… a mix of Hawaiian/Mexican food and drinks…

I’ve asked my friends to wear Hawaiian clothing… and will greet them at the door as they arrive… with a margarita…

Hawaiian style pupus (appetizers)… a Mexican main course… and Maui Jim’s infamous chocolate chip cookies for dessert…

I want to thank you once again… for your notes to me on yesterday’s entry… it brought some much needed clarity…
