Chloe has had a bad rash since being diagnosed with strep on July 4th. I took her to the doctor today and they finally decided it is yeast and not from the strep only. They gave her a steroid cream to apply 2 times daily. My poor munchkin.
She acts like it doesn’t hurt but a blistered, bleeding vaginal area is quite painful I’m sure.
She also has an ear infection and a runny nose. Thanks teething!
She’s still on antibiotics and now on this steroid cream and her Motrin/Tylenol for the pain of the ear infection.
We spent 3hrs waiting before being seen by a doctor since she was a walk-in. She did great, my social girl just discussed life with everyone coming in an out of the office…to bad it was Chloe-ish and not English. She did a lot of waving and clapping and tried some Itsy-Bitsy Spider too. She is walking basically. She takes 5-10 steps at a time but prefers crawling.
Some TMI going on below.....
I am weaning off the anxiety meds. It’s going- I have had diarrhea a few times but not too bad. I took charcoal one time and it helped with the stomach ache and bloated feeling. I think I have a yeast or bacterial infection so I’ll treat it as a yeast infection and schedule my yearly for in a week or two and ask about this issue.
I get a yeast or bacterial infection after sex frequently. I hate having to run and shower as soon as we are done or risk that burning type itch a fay or two later. I wear cotton underwear and have stopped wearing thongs and G-strings despite my love of them. I don’t use panty liners unless on my period because they irritate my skin as well. I don’t use any soap in my lower region because of the chemicals/scents. I don’t know what else to do! I am beyond sensitive and need relief! I bought Monistat and AZO pills and I’m trying both starting tonight but the infection comes back within a few weeks. I had a few during pregnancy, including one that caused pre-term labor and hospitalized me overnight.
Any experience or advice would be great!
