Home in Little Book

I am settling into my new home. There is much renovation to do, and I take it step by step. There is so much wildlife out in back, birds, rabbits, groundhogs. . . Every day I can look out the window and enjoy it.

I have the ‘daily rabbit’ and company.

They are all cottontails.

I still only have a little electric griddle. I am washing the clothes in the tub and hang them out to dry on the line.

I hope I can go to Mass soon, find a good church.

Today I worked a little more on a problem outlet in the kitchen. It would not accept GFCI so I had to simply put in clean new sockets. I am a little concerned about it. I don’t want to electrocute myself or anyone else.

I hope the contractor work I have to have done on the panel and the gutters is not expensive.

If things cool off eventually I’ll be able to do more upstairs. Right now I am working on the ground floor.

Allergies have been a problem and I have been putting in air filters and using a box fan with a furnace filter as an inexpensive air filter. This is a really helpful thing to do. I also have a bare bones ozone generator. But I still need more air filters. I was knocked out earlier today by the allergies.

I am thanking God for the gift of this place.

I hope I can look at the lilies of the fields always.
