She's Back (Colic Update) Sunday, December 21, 2008
My little girl is back to the little girl she was before the colic. Yesterday she wasn't quite there, but today when she woke up (after sleeping through the night...5.5 hours) she looked at me and smiled. It's been over a week since I have seen that. She smiled all through out the day. She only cried when hungry, bored, and sleepy. It's such a relief to know she's not suffering any longer. I haven't heard a colic cry in 2 days. Her and I are both feeling so much better.
She's eating from her bottle again. She's cooing again. She's smiling again. She's not holding her legs up or arching her back. She's sleeping deep. She's just my wonderful little sweat heart that I have missed so much. Don't get me wrong. She voices her opinion when she needs something, but that is music to my ears! There's a huge difference between a colic cry and a "Hey mom, I am bored... pick me up cry."
I really hope that it's the Colief that's helping her, and just not another good phase. She should out grow this in about 3 weeks. All I know is, things are 100% better. Hopefully this will be my last colic update.
