Give a man a fish, he’ll eat for a day.
Set a man loose to fish with greed in his heart,
he’ll get rich and the fish will go extinct.
Give fish!

Give a man a fish he’ll eat for a day.
Teach a man to fish
he’ll be hounded for fishing student loans for the rest of his life.
Give fish!

Give a man a fish, he’ll eat for a day.
Teach a man to fish,
he’ll eventually get pretentious and start talking about sous vide
and molecular gastronomy and pretty soon it’ll be
organic fish with sriracha bacon and kale.
Give fish!

Give a man a fish, he’ll eat for a day.
Teach a man to fish,
it’ll become his identity
he’ll get a hat with a little clock in it
that says “Time to Fish” on it and
nobody wants that.
Give fish!

Give a man a fish, he’ll eat for a day.
Give a man a fish every day and he’ll eat every day.
Fuck your weird Protestant Work Ethic bullshit
where you think things like health and dignity have to be earned
have to be bled and sweated out making some asshole rich
we’re human and we all deserve health and dignity
no matter what we do or do not do
so please for the love of God, give fish!
Give fish!
Give fish.
