COUNTDOWN in LIFE OF A D.O.M. WIDOWER LIVING ON THE NJ SHORE

Every year my birthday merge due to the date nearness. This year was no exception and on Father’s Day we gathered on Sunday at a BBQ on my son Tom’s new deck.
Wednesday Doris is taking me to a fine local Steakhouse and will stay over. I have already let work know I will be 2 hours late Sunday is the big party and I am unashamedly looking forward to it. Doris will have to leave about 7 pm to attend her Sisters’ birthday party.
Yesterday in the Heat Doris came over to my house in the afternoon with her oldest grand son. Before my AA Meeting we grilled burgers and I totally blew his mind showing how I cook Tater Tots. I cook them in a Panini grill and they come out in something like a waffle cake and very crispy.

Also going on this week Doris has decided to come to m house Thursday, Friday and Saturday for a mini vacation. We are debating if she will bring her cat with her and I am OK about its coming or not. On the other hand I am all for her visiting.
