Monday in New Diary

We deal with Comcast for phone, internet and cable. My fiancé wanted to get Internet since she has a new computer. All she wanted was to upgrade to Internet. They ended up selling her a package where she gets two hundred some cable channels. Then she had to pay for two service calls. Anyways her cable bill for July is well over two hundred dollars. I keep thinking something is not right . I upgraded my package last summer when I got a tv. My bill was no way that high. Think the most I had to pay for cable was around $150f or $160. Something is not right .

I hate Comcast. I hate it with a passion. You sign up with Comcast and they start you out with a reasonable rate. When I had digital preferred I was paying $137 a month. I had phone, cable and Internet. My cable package included 150 channels. After a year it goes up. If I had stuck with the same package I would have been paying $185 at least. It seems they penalize people who stay with them by charging higher rates.

Comcast is a frigging monopoly. They don’t care about their customers. They want to get as much money as they can out of you. I would change providers but in the building where I live it is impossible. They are a monopoly. and nothing but a bunch
of crooks.

I plan on helping her out as much as I can. I get $753 a month. I pay $120 a month for Comcast and $241.75 for rent. That leaves me with $391.25 I. I plan on giving my fiancé $70 this will give me $321.25. Reload fee on my debit card is $3.18 I will have $318.07. Out of this $20 is for laundry this will leave me with $298.07

I will hopefully load $298 on my debit card. Out of this I must pay $128.25 for computer payment. This will leave me with $169.75 I plan on spending $40 on Dollar General This will leave me with $129.75,. Then I plan on spending $70 on food . This will leave me with $59.75 Also, $37 for cigars and $10 for meds. I should have $12.75 left . Then reload fee on my card will leave me with . $9.75

Comcast is nothing but a big rip off corporation. But we will get through the month. We will survive.

2:40pm I read all morning. |I started rereading the first few pages of chapter 4 in my book America’s Unwritten Constitution. I don’t remember too much about what I read. It is way over my head. Anne had a couple appointments this morning. She didn’t get back until 11:30. Later on we went to the Bread Basket sign up in the community room. I checked off a lot of stuff and hope to get a big order when they distribute the food Thursday.
