HOW NEAT in LIFE OF A D.O.M. WIDOWER LIVING ON THE NJ SHORE

Back some three months we set up our calendar for Speaking Commitments. To be exact that means thirteen for the three months less nights we reserve for the Groups Celebrations. That means that we will send speakers out for other groups and they will send their speakers to speak at our meetings on ten nights. Generally it works this simply.

I was there along with one other from my group when it dawned on me that the date was June 10 and AA had been born on this date in 1935. I often am amazed to think that this program was born by two alcoholics and in a short 80 years it has spread to the four corners of the earth and helps so many suffering people. Newcomers often ask How does AA work? The stock answer is very Well !!!!
