Well here I sit. Alone. My friend seafarer is on her way to the airport. As I requested on her trip here, I would ask that you pray for her travels and her flight on her way back home.

It has been a WONDERFUL time. We decided not to go shopping or browsing or whatever at JoAnn’s and just kept visiting, talking, laughing as we shared more of our lives with each other. We never ran out of talk. lol Never. It would be non-stop from early morning until I would have to go to bed. Seafarer doesn’t sleep so she could stay awake much longer than I could and I felt really bad that I couldn’t stay up past 10:30. That is my life and as hard as I tried to stay alert I would cave in to the weariness of my eyes and body. Even delayed taking my evening meds to try and stay awake longer and it just didn’t help long enough.

To try and explain the bond we have is impossible. It is heaven sent and we both know it and recognize it. A blessing that we are both so very thankful for on the journey of life and so unexpected so many years ago.

I cooked some for us but nothing fancy and she was kind and sweet to make us a delicious pound cake with a recipe that she had perfected. Yum!! She also treated J and I both with hair cuts and I know why customers follow her.

Saying goodbye was painful but really it was an “until next time”.

I also spoke to another diarist, Rose of Texas last night on Seafarer’s phone, which was a pleasant surprise. So nice to make contact with other writers.

I missed her before she even left my home but I know we will see each other again. Thank you dear Seafarer for making the trip to my house and home. Thank you for being my sister friend.

Take care and God Bless my friends
