He Proved Me Wrong in Inside My Head

Mike promised that this time around things won’t be like they’ve been before. I was convinced otherwise. I was looking up how much our home is worth in case we needed to sell. I spoke to a foreclosure attorney in case it came to that. I started researching second jobs. Mike kept his word this time. He’s spent hours applying to jobs, talking to recruiters, going on interviews. He just informed me that he was just offered a job for 10k higher than his previous employer. He’s still in Manhattan so his commute still sucks, but in the end he had a job and we’re aren’t going to financially crash and burn. Things are finally looking up.
